The Housing Division is charged with administering the City’s housing programs and responsibilities. The Housing Division is responsible for ongoing monitoring of affordable housing projects funded by the City and the former Redevelopment Agency, and is responsible for administration of the Mobilehome Rent Stabilization Ordinance. The Housing Division also administers the City’s Housing Trust Fund, and seeks to leverage these funds to assist in the production, preservation or rehabilitation of affordable housing units.

The City has also assumed all assets and responsibilities of the former Redevelopment Agency, which was dissolved pursuant to State law on February 1, 2012.
